We are an eco friendly, coffee and spices producer.. Compliant to international labor laws, Quality, and Safety standards, we produce one of the finest from our Coffea Canephor Perdenia Varietals. We care for our team, flora, fauna, environment and animals alike! Our farm dates back close to a century!
All our products are curated from a single estate in Wayanad, Kerala. Blessed with wonderful nature and our inspiration in non violence (Jain-Ahimsa) philosophy, our farm is the secret ingredient that is spoken least off!
At our Coffee Plantation, we're committed to providing fresh, locally grown Quality produce from Wayanad. We believe in supporting local employment and promoting sustainable agriculture practises. Quality over Quantity is our focus !
Plants in our estate are several decades old, sustaining along with the bio diverse environment. We nurture and care for them without pushing for over production or too much mechanisation.
We work with a network of local workers who share our values and commitment to quality.
we are busy transferring our generational wisdom to next gen, while learning fast from previous! Our working team are more than 30 years experienced in the field, and still going strong, maybe the fresh air, streams, birds, plants, animals and fruits that they live with!
Our Coffee beans are sorted for quality, and then again screened physically by our estate workers, to ensure there are no insect bit beans before further processing - for a Jain Compliance inspired way.
Our Spices are all as natural as possible, grown without pesticides, without extracting essense and organic (as declared by farmer).
Process Experiments
When we process microlots of Speciality Coffee by slow drying and looking over it more frequently than needed!
Our experienced team is fast adapting to neo ways of Coffee techniques, while giving feedback and preserving some of the old methods that are mind blowing simple!
Our journey into special coffees
In Wayanad , Western Ghats, slopes of Chembra (2600 feet altitude).
Wayanad Robustas from Canephora Perdenia varietal, after a monsoon. Cherries are ripe and ready for harvest.
Bulk processed as Natural, micro-lots undergo special processing .
Cherries are select picked, cleaned and prepared for next processes .
Cherries processed for several hours in fermentation tanks, and monitored carefully during the process.
Drying on a raised table under shade, monitored for moisture. This allows for slow drying and reduced sugars being absorbed into beans from the mucilage
Hulled and ready for grading and sorting, This "bulk" robusta cherry is ready for Green Coffee Buyers !
Undergoes a good roast under precise monitoring for colour, cracks and temperature
